The LPG parallel grippers are suitable for locking the pieces into position in “close” or “open” position and, thanks to their limited

weight and size, ensure a long jaw run and an efficient grip force.

Their most noticeable features are:

• Profiled guideways with parts of the sliding mechanism in polymer, with a very low friction coefficient and a high bearing capacity.

• Reduced elevation of the gripper with a wide base of support for the jaws to ensure rigidity and stability of the system.

• Fully guided jaws along the entire run for constant load rigidity.

• Synchronization of pinion-and-rack mechanism with washers to protect it from contamination by the external environment.

• Standard centralized connection for pressurisation of the gripper.

• All materials on the gripper are treated with antioxidants such as anodized aluminium, nitrided and stainless steel (special stainless steel

integral versions or with PET body and jaws are available on request).

• Positioning control with integrated sensors.

The accessories are:

• Module with two piloted retention valves to maintain the position of the jaws; it can activate the grip both from outside and from inside; with

pressure drop, the valve stops air discharge and the jaws maintain a firm hold on the piece.

• Joint with piloted locking valve to be used as an alternative to the two-valve module.

• Two - or three - wires “Reed” or “solid state”, PNP sensors, connection box, cables.

• Locking plates with threaded feed connections and integrated pressurization, centering bushings for the jaw tooling.
